Our Catholic Schools Week celebration continued this morning with an Academic Awards Assembly, followed by an Academic Game Show. Students who achieved Principal’s List for the 1st and 2nd quarters of this year were recognized along with Seniors who will be graduating with Cum Laude (3.75-3.99 gpa), Magna Cum Laude (4.00-4.25 gpa), and Summa Cum Laude (4.25+ gpa) honors. Course level awards will be given out throughout the week during lunch periods. Dr. Denison concluded by inspiring the students to recognize that God gives us all different talents, and that no matter what they may be, we must use those talents in all that we do. The student body cheered on the Academic Team as they competed against a panel of teachers, with Mrs. Shriner and Mr. Reese officiating. It was a tough competition, with the Academic team taking the win.
