Our Greyhound Art of the Week is Two Greyhounds, oil on canvas, - TopicsExpress

Our Greyhound Art of the Week is Two Greyhounds, oil on canvas, year unknown, by William Barraud (1810 - 1850). The artist was the brother of painter Henry Barraud, who painted the famous portrait of King Cob. He was popular with dog fanciers and huntsmen for painting portraits of their favorite dogs or horses. My research has failed to reveal the names of the two Greyhounds. If anyone knows more about the painting, please post !
