Our Lord and our God, in the name of Jesus, we bow our knees before the God of heaven and earth; Who created the universe beyond our knowing and knows even the number of hairs on our head. Our Lord and our God we know that You are an omnipresent God, that You are everywhere and in all things; but so often, and for so many, we are made to feel like You have withdrawn Your presence from us, and the world around us has become a desert place. So do we come to Your throne of grace this and every morning with ONE desire, in the name of our Lord Jesus, that we seek after every second; every minute; every hour of the day, that we may forever remain in Your PRESENCE! In Your presence is Father, there is fulness of joy, and at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. O God! We pray receive us NOW into Your secret place, hide us under the shadow of Your wings, and keep us as the apple of the eye that we are. In the name of Jesus! Cover us, dear Lord, and hide us from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity; cast us not away from Your PRESENCE; and take not Your Holy Spirit from us! In the name of Jesus, we pray Your divine covering today! For the church, facing pressure from beyond, and discord from within, IJN; when even the church feels like a desert place, cover us, Father GOD. For ourselves, our families and friends, when loneliness, fear, shame, and anxiety, and busyness, take root, and You seem far from us; cover us, dear Lord. In the name of Jesus! Manifest Yourself like never before. Make Your presence felt anew. Make it true for us, for Your church, for our world, that Your name is Emmanuel, God with us! Thank You Father for answered prayers. In the matchless name of Christ Jesus, we pray and declare it all. Amen!
