Our Profile Enveloped by a natural boundary of picturesque hills, conveniently and centrally situated just off the main road entrance to Kariba, Marineland Harbour is one of the deepest and largest harbours in Kariba. Marineland provides a full sevice of all activities associated with Lake Kariba from houseboat charters and cruises, to supplies and services required by the boating and angling fraternity. Marineland provides the only harbour facility where you can book a houseboat and have every service associated with your trip dealt with on the property. W In our opinion, and a view shared by many thousands of visitors each year, the very best way to enjoy the splendour of Lake Kariba and all it has to offer, is aboard a houseboat. When chartering a houseboat, you are able to include game viewing, fishing, birding, sight seeing, all combined with accommodation and catering into one neat package. We have comfortable boats to suit your pocket, as well as executive up-market luxury cruisers should you wish to be pampered and spoilt. We also have the facilities at Marineland Harbour to fulfill all your catering requirements with a selection of menus available from Marineland Catering to suit any palette. We can also supply and load prior to departure your drinks from our bottle store, as well as ice, fresh and dried bait for the keen fishermen. We have fishing rods and reels available for hire and a small shop that sells limited fishing tackle and essential and emergency supplies. Our offices are situated in the harbour, and our management team is available 7 days a week to deal with any requests you may have regarding your Houseboat Charter, Speedboat Hire, Walking Safari, Catering, or to provide you with general information about Kariba and what it has to offer. We have many houseboats moored in our harbour, and directly manage, and charter out a good number of those on behalf of the Boat Owners. We also have available for hire, speedboats of varying sizes, either for a day’s fishing, game viewing, transfer across the Lake or to accompany you on your houseboat trip. For larger parties we have large diesel powered transfer boats designed to carry up to 36 passengers (and their luggage), and these are available for transfer to all of the Lake Island Resorts. In the unlikely event of us not having a boat suitable to meet your needs, we will endeavour to find an alternative out of an estimated 200 houseboats currently in operation on the Lake. The management team is here to meet your needs, see you on and off the boat and to generally assist in any way to ensure that your trip is a memorable one. If you are flying into the local airport we can also arrange ground transfers from and to the airport in our 20 seater bus. Marineland prides itself on being the only “one stop shop” in Kariba where you can find all your Lake Kariba requirements
