Our client, a Financial B2B service company, is seeking a hands-on sales director to directly influence an existing sales team, expand the team, and insure growth of a dynamic company. The director of sales is accountable for the companys sales growth, via managing a high energy sales team, directing outside and in-house sales agents, motivating the team to drive the company’s growth and revenue projections. This includes the development and execution of detailed sales plans to support the organizations existing outbound and inbound sales channel. The director of sales will oversee the recruiting, training and development of a highly competitive sales organization, focusing on new client acquisitions, creating plans for new business channels, cold calls and warm leads to build new revenue. Encourage staff development through sales training and mentoring. Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and hold members accountable for individual and team results. Oversee a rigorous sales recruiting and training program. Implement and manage performance driven accountability programs throughout the sales organization. Roll out contests and motivational programs to increase sales enthusiasm and overall performance. Continually refine and improve sales programs to increase new client acquisition rates. Work closely with client development to coordinate sales and service offerings to retain clients. Qualifications: Hands on experience in building a competitive sales team, with a proven client acquisition track record and demonstrated success in hitting sales goals. Must have a history of building successful sales and sales management teams. 5+ years of experience in sales management. Dynamic leader and developer of high performing sales people. Experience in designing and developing sales systems. Personal Characteristics: The director of sales needs to be an experienced and capable sale professional and must possess an aggressive, whatever it takes, results-driven attitude, the ability to respond quickly to challenges and to work under pressure, and a high degree of intellectual bandwidth. Finally: The director of sales should be continuously motivated by the desire to meet, exceed monthly, quarterly, annual revenue targets, and have a drive to establish the company as the market leader.
