Our last day in Lisbon - Extremely hot, over 100, even the hotel left warnings about the heat on our pillows last night. Met our fellow Douro River travelers and they are primarily Brits, so I know we will have fun. The historically rich & monument filled Belem area of Lisbon brought back memories of my first visit. The beauty & terror of the Tower, Prince Henry leading the Discoverers into the unknown, the wealth that made Jeronimos monastery possible & monks custard tarts laced with cinnamon! The memorial to these those who died fighting the dictatorship & the 25th of April Bridge are new additions to this museum filled area. A short walk through the run down fado district brought out old Lisbon. Some things thankfully change,
