Our newest Teen Host, Tim Heiduk a well-spoken senior at Dos Pueblos High School, is an active, involved student. Currently he serves as President of the Letterman’s Club, a member of the DPHS Leadership class, a journalist for DP’s online school newspaper, The Charger Account, and a tutor for the DP Writing Center. Tim is also an avid sports fan. He played multiple sports growing up, but after the seventh grade, Tim decided to play the one sport that was his true passion—soccer. He has been a four year Varsity soccer player at Dos Pueblos, and is a two-time USYS National Champion with his Santa Barbara Soccer Club team. In addition to athletics, he takes his schoolwork very seriously, compiling an overall 4.5 G.P.A. Tim is a member of both the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation. Recently he represented his high school at the Global Leadership Connection conference. One of Tim’s favorite quotes and one that he models his strong work ethic after is, “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going”—Beverly Sills. teensportsradio/about.htm
