Our proposal is not anti- union labor , Freedom does not change the workers right to stay in the union and pay union dues and P A C money if that serves their interests,This is the time to make Michigan a Right To Work State , as a school board member, Vp and Dean of the Board of Ed. i have taken this personally , in the local News and online , the labor union was good back in the day, my dad was a union man, however it has lost its way i have seen the way the pie is cut , and its not for the students , it serve the left-wing extremist by funding views its members may not share, make union membership optional, it is a civil right its contrary to freedom to have to un-willingly pay or be responsible to a third party in order to have or hold a job, Michigan has seen the greatest loss of gross domestic product of any state in the nation , two-thirds of all Right To Work states ( 14- of 22 ) have higher per capita in come than in Michigan, The difference is clear cost of living in most Right To Work states is lower ,Workers in Right To Work states have more disposable income , forced union states have more then twice as many people per capita on govt. welfare,,, Thursday, Gov. Snyder expressed his support for making Michigan a Right to Work state. I was in that meeting with Governor Snyder, Senate Majority leader Randy Richardville , State Rep Mike Shirkey and others ,when the Governor said The Legislation will protect workers from being required to join and pay dues to a labor union as a condition of getting or keeping a job, it will protect collective bargaining, A few hours later both the House and the Senate brought bills up for a vote, House Bill 4054 was passed by the House by a vote of 58-52 and would create Right to Work for private sector employees.
