Our religious reality is about overlapping relationships: with gods, with spirits, with our ancestors, with our family, and with our wider religious community. [And] any time I break or poison a relationship my actions ripple out into a larger world, often in ways I could not anticipate. Jason did really well with this piece, and I appreciate his words to our communities. I also feel the need to say this: Every magic worker worth her salt knows that our words have power. If you wish rape upon someone, even in a fit of online pique, I hope you seek help to get your anger under control. I hope you make actions toward actual amends and restitution. I hope you contribute a significant amount of money to rape crisis centers and shelters. I hope that you begin to make prayers every day for the well being of all womxn. I wish change upon you. I wish for justice in this world.
