Over 40 Christian churches have been burned, damaged, or robbed in Egypt by Muslim Brotherhood supporters in the past few weeks. Christian businesses and business owners there have been targeted and maliciously persecuted by radical Islamists with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Yesterday’s Daily Mail (UK) headline reported, “Islamist mob parades nuns in Cairo as prisoners of war after six hours looting church school and replacing cross with banner resembling Al Qaeda flag.” I am calling on you to be in prayer for our brothers and sisters Egypt, while also considering how close America could be to having similar events erupting in our own nation. Please see my very important update below – Mat Mathew Staver In Egypt, a civil war has erupted – yet another development born of the Arab Spring which was endorsed by the Obama administration. Not surprisingly, the Egyptian people now want the radical and oppressive Muslim Brotherhood removed from power. President Obama declared last week that we cannot take sides in this conflict. Too late. He already has. He wrongly sided with the radical Muslim Brotherhood which moved quickly to impose Sharia on all Egyptians. The riots and upheaval in Egypt have roots in Obama’s confused, pro-Islam Middle East foreign policy. This war has been fueled by in part by President Obama’s illogical foreign policy, which has included billions of dollars in aid to the Muslim Brotherhood, the mother of many terrorist organizations. The Muslim Brotherhood is an anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic group of radical Islamists. They are enemies of Western civilization. John Bolton, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. under the George W. Bush administration, called the current U.S. policy ‘completely incoherent.’” Egypt is in chaos, in part due to political intervention by the Obama administration. In the past few days, hundreds of Egyptians have been killed, thousands more injured, and the violence has resulted in the burning of at least 40 Christian churches. Where is the outcry from outraged American tax-payers? And the question still remains, where was President Obama when Benghazi burned? There are now reports circulating that the Benghazi attacks were executed by Obama-backed Muslim Brotherhood factions who were being armed to overthrow the Syrian President, which then made off with 400 surface-to-air missiles. So, hidden behind the Benghazi stonewall is the fact that America “lost” 400 powerful missiles, the kind that can bring down airliners or Israeli fighters! If true, it is no wonder why the Obama administration wants us to believe it is all a “phony scandal.” President Obama has once again placed himself on the wrong side of history by siding with Islamic zealots who would love for the “great Satan,” America, to be weakened, overthrown, and converted to Islam.
