Over 400 PF Cadres Charged for Illegal land The Zambia Police has formally arrested 411 Patriotic Front cadres for illegally distributing land. Police acting spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said the mob that was rounded up on Thursday during an operation in Lusaka West will appear in court soon. Hamoonga said the mob had been thoroughly screened and the 411 were found wanting and will have their day in court. Patriotic Front cadres have become notorious with illegal distribution of land usually moving in on land while the owners watch helplessly. The cadres have had silent backing from the party’s top brass who have been reluctant to act.
