PANA off to the Division 4 Grand Final! Wow what a collective effort from the whole team in tonight’s final performance. Although the coaching bench had many nervous moments, nail biting, sweaty hands and probably by the end of the game lost voices, the girls listened at each quarter break and continued to work hard at the overall game plan to come home with a 47-42 win over Northern Suburbs and secure their place in the Grand Final. 1st quarter, both teams were finding their rhythm with PANA leading 12-11 2nd quarter, Northern Suburbs put on a very impressive defensive effort to lead us 24-18 at the major break. 3rd quarter, yes with a never say never attitude and ensuring that the little things counted, PANA after a penalty goal awarded took the lead in a very tight and tough contested game 35-34 4th quarter, coming into the last quarter, our girls stood strong, played consistent netball and supported each other from our defensive pressure down court to our strong attacking and finished the game with a strong performance, putting on another 4 goals to secure the win. Congratulations to every player, on or off the court, you have all work hard as part of a team unit to earn your spot in the grand final. To the coach, manager, primary career and support staff, awesome job in preparing the girls and keeping the game simplistic and on track. Finally from the girls to the PANA spectators, a very big sincere thank you, your support is what brings our team through each week and we hope to see you there on Saturday at 3.00 pm to cheer us on against Illawarra.
