PARENTING ADVICE NEEDED. As many of you know, my son flew the nest two weeks ago and is living and working in Bastrop. When he left he had $1800 in his bank account; we sent him with a bed/futon, chest of drawers, towels/linens, all his favorite foods, etc. Today he called me to ask if we could give him $200 to make his $450+ rent/utilities because he has only $170 left in his checking account and his paycheck was only $250 (for two weeks). We told him to return all the stuff he has blown through his money on, which he said was impossible. When I asked him why he had spent so much money on food when I sent him with enough food for two weeks he responded, Frankly, your food is shit, Mom. I ended the conversation at that point. What would you do? Help!
