PB ALERT!!!! :) Earlier this spring Erik Grubb & I had an incredible first longer session ( 36 hours or so ) of the year. We arrived at the swim at just before first light and were greeted by friend and K-1 team mate Ivelin Petrov who was already set up for his 6 day session and was excited as we were about being there. We began to set up camp, put some bait out and then the rods. We noticed fish crashing, rolling and rising in another area that would be better fished from another swim. We started to move some of our gear over to that swim and within minutes of our rods being out we had our first run! It was action packed for the entire morning and into the afternoon, slowing down but continuing throughout our session. We kept the fish feeding well using big PVA bags full of whole 12mm & 16mm Pineapple Ice Cream & Mulberry Cream boilies and chopped 20mm and 24mm boilies,method mix flavored with Pineapple Ice Cream Emulsion Flavor fished over Pineapple Ice Cream & Mulberry Cream 12mm and 16mm boilies, homemade boilie chops and some dense particle. Our most productive hook baits were snowman rigs of Pineapple Ice Cream.Reactor 15mm dumbells and Pineapple Ice Cream 16mm glugged boilies and Banana Ice Cream 16mm Pop ups. Erik and I had 16 fish total between us. Both had 8 fish each and PBs were broken and amazing mirrors caught. Erik and I will be posting some more beasts shortly. ;) Unfortunately we had to leave after only 36 hours, but we were glad Ivelin was able to take the swim and keep the fish going having an epic session as well. Here is my new PB mirror and the biggest carp Ive ever caught weighing 36 lbs. 10 oz.!
