Meet one of our youth members Kendra Bingham Kendra is 13 years old, attends Sandcreek Middle School and is in the eighth grade. She enjoys playing the trumpet, spending time with her friends and of course riding. For her 9th birthday she started lessons at The Barn and quickly became interested in reining. With her first horse, Kendra learned a lot and accomplished many things especially in 4H. She and Yoshe were Reserve Showmanship Champions in the county fair and placed in many events at the state level. While she likes doing all the 4H events her favorite is reining. Last year she was fortunate enough to find Miffilinas Revolver, Magnum, a 5 year old gelding. She has been very successful this year riding Magnum. She did not participate in 4H this last year but instead chose to focus on reining. Next year she plans on competing in more shows and scoring more consistently. She also wants to become a member of the NRHA to hopefully, win more money and work towards scholarships.
