PDP,MESSI APC,C.RONALDO COINCIDENCE OR LIFES REALITY. At the peak of the Nigerias ruling party,PDP saga,its immediate past chairman,Alhaji Bamanga Tukur played down the crisis when he said the party was like Messi,then reigning and four-time voted FIFA world best footballer of the year adding that PDP like Messi would dribble its way through the crisis and come out victorious. Few days later,APC leader,Asiwaju Bola Tinubu seized occasion of opening of Ebute-meta Local government secretariat building named after him to reply PDP boss when he stated that if PDP is Messi and Barcelona, APC is C.Ronaldo and Real Madrid that would eventually over-run its arch rivals. Though Barça like PDPis a formidable and a strong side however FIFA just as INEC have always been alleged to aid some of the catalan giants chain of victories and element of riggings(vote stealing) in favour of Messi in the struggles for the Ballon DOr diadem. PDP on its part have been in power in Nigeria for four-term consecutively,the self acclaimed biggest political party s strings of success is not devoid of high rate of favouritism and accusations of riggings by INEC. Christiano Ronaldo of RMCF incidentally first won the world best player award in 2008 and for four years following he was runners up to Leo Messi of Barça a couple of times with glaring favouritism towards Argentine. But the whole story started changing shortly after the postulations by the two opposing giants of Nigerian politics, no thanks to injuries and rising profile of the portuguese player .Messi kissed the dust and C.Ronaldo regained his well deserved trophy in January the same month Tukur was forced to abdicate his glamorous office ditto for the president Barça FC, Sandro Rosell who was forced to resign from office. While PDP sustained serious injuries from the crisis losing high calibre party members to APC, the ruling PDP SUDDENLY BECOMES minority in the legislatives arm of government.
