PENNY WISE AND DOLLAR FOOLISH Three rhetorical questions and a disturbing truth. Q #1 If you were sick, to the point of death (because of poor health choices), and you heard that restoration to extremely good health was possible, provided you follow some very simple and reasonable steps, would you be interested in hearing what those steps are? Q #2 If you were at the point of bankruptcy and imprisonment (because of bad business decisions), and you heard that expiation and solvency was possible, provided you follow some very simple and reasonable steps, would you be interested in hearing what those steps are? Q #3 If you were about to lose all relationship and communication with your family (because of your own actions), and you heard that reconciliation was possible, provided you follow some very simple and reasonable steps, would you be interested in hearing what those steps are? Disturbing Truth Yet, when people realize that the path they have chosen leads to eternal separation from God, they refuse to hear the simple steps that can change their lives and their eternal destinies. Dont let the chasm of separation with God grow greater, possibly to the point of hopelessness. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call on Him while He is near, turn from wicked ways and unclean thoughts, come to Jesus, for His mercy and to God, for His pardon (Is. 55:6-7)
