PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT ... and Im so glad of that! Different people use the same technology in different ways. Some people use blenders only for crushing ice. WOW! You know, many people who use Facebook do not even look at it every day! Some of those people you are annoyed with because they never post anything might be shy, or just are not seeking attention the way some others do. There are a lot of different ways to use Facebook social media, and lots of different preference settings. becoming friends with someone doesnt mean you have to suddenly become a public figure yourself. If you consider people friends, and they arent showing up in your News Feed, try private messaging them. They might be very social with some people, and just not out there with it for the whole world to see. I lost several hundred friends, nearly a third of them, when I couldnt pay my phone and internet bill for 7 months, from February to September of 2013, because 2012 was economically the worst year of my life. Occasionally I got online from the public library to try letting everyone know what happened, but what are chances of everyone seeing the message? Did any private message me to ask whats up? No, none of the ones who left me. Dont be self-important to the extent that you think you should unfriend friends who arent posting for your interests, or you think are lurkers, or peepers, or are somehow using you for their amusement, as if you are that interesting. Im intentionally not commenting directly on your post out of respect and the intent to be kind. Im appreciative of anyone who finds me to be of any interest. Ive been aware of people who never ( or rarely ) post anything for years, and sometimes Im surprised by their Like, or comment, when I thought they were dead accounts. I love them ALL!!!
