Here you see 3 bracelets by Marilyn Payne using completely different techniques of construction. The first has a looped fringe made by weaving through each of the beads in the base causing tension which makes it curl nicely and comfortably around the wrist. The second is a sterling silver bracelet with a copper focal. A rolling mill was used to impress textures into metal. Marilyn saw it as a sea dragon, but others saw letters and laundry flapping on a clothesline. The third is embroidery mounted on a solid brass cuff. The face is a polymer clay disc surrounded by both round and keishe pearls (the ones that look like corn flakes).
