PHILLIP EATS AT SAINT VINCENT’S HOSTEL. Phillip looked at his watch and said, time is getting on for lunch, I better take off to St Vincet’s Hostel for it. He was speaking to a man name Kevin. He then showed him two brand new pairs of long trousers that he got there. I go for a shower there he said, it’s all free, clothing’s free, you see these trousers? They are brand new, I got lot of old ones here supplied to me from Wolston Park before. When I need clean clothes, I throw my dirty stuff in the heap and take clean ones. All that stuff is donated by people and shops that can’t sell it, towels are all hospital issue from the government. I’ll have a look for more trousers same as these, if they got them, I’ll throw my black ones I got on in the wash and put on the new pair, shirt, briefs and socks. Than when I come home, I take them off and put them away, and put on the hospital issue rubbish that I’ll give them next week. I never wash clothes but change them once a week. The clothes he had on were grubby, they stunk from sweat. Being a mental patient, he was on treatment taking tablets every day. See you when I come home after lunch. I said sure, I’ll fry myself a big Catfish that will make my lunch and tea like the one yesterday did. He went off to eat by getting charity, while I plugged in the electric fry pan after cleaning the fish out and made myself a baked dinner of fish and baked potatoes that gave me lunch and tea. Phillip came home happily with brand new clothes, and the trousers that he was wearing were exactly the same as the ones he was showing around before. He went straight to his room, changed his clothes by putting on the hospital issue of clothes and his brand new ones that he got were put away in his wardrobe.
