PI2013 #528 - Entitlements Undermine, Threaten Liberty ASK A HORSE “Entitlement and privilege corrupt.” ~ James. B. Stockwell Saturday, August 10th, 2013 Liberty Lovers, usdebtclock.org: Every American Taxpayer Now “Owes” “The (federal) State” $148,056, every citizen $53,400. Entitlements Are Not Synonymous with rights secured by America’s Constitution(s). Entitlements mean some people – those on whom entitlements are bestowed - get to enjoy property confiscated from someone else. “Americans, endowed by their solicitous government with an ever-expanding array of entitlements, now have the whiny mentality that an entitlement culture breeds.” ~ George F. Will “The greatest threat to long-term stability in America is the unsustainable growth of entitlement spending.” ~ Joe Pitts President Obama Proclaimed health care as laid out in Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) 2010 a right... and ‘law’ of America. Rights can not be denied. Some people – if no others aspire to become health care providers – must be forced to provide health care to satisfy PPACA lawful compliance if health care is a matter of law. “Success in the United States is not an entitlement in China. You have to go there and earn it. ~ Howard Scultz “Conservatism is a hard choice for a society that has become accustomed to big government and big entitlements promised by liberals.” ~ Jesse Helms Defined Benefit Public Sector Collective Bargaining is another form of ‘entitlement’ where government is legally bound to confiscate property from some Americans to compensate those receiving contracted benefits. Americans forced to pay must surrender their Constitutionally-secured liberty. “No one asked me to be an actor, so no one owed me. There was no entitlement.” ~ James Earl Jones “The entitlement state has driven us into insolvency.” ~ Joe Miller People Intending To Live In Liberty do not allow legislators – or other public officials within These United States of America, to enter into contracts with collective bargaining units. They preclude government from eroding their assets through property confiscation. Let Freedom Ring Choose citizencontrolledtaxation It’s your property, not “State” property. Best Wishes, Len Ritchey
