PIA-13: PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST issued at 5am 09 October 2013. Synopsis: At 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Depression "SANTI" was estimated based on all available data at 600 km east of Virac, Catanduanes (14.2N, 130.4E) with maximum winds of 45 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 15 kph. Forecast: MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Light to moderate winds coming from the north to northwest will prevail over Luzon and blowing from the northwest to southwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters over the entire archipelago will be slight to moderate.
