PLEASE DISTRIBUTE WIDELY Program Officer The Battle Creek Community Foundation is searching for a Program Officer to play a vital role in the success of the Foundation’s grantmaking and/or scholarships process(es). The qualified candidate needs to have significant and proven experience in leading and supervising individuals in a team setting. Creativity and flexibility are required to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities. Ideal candidate should be familiar with grantmaking and/or scholarships, evaluation, and process administration. Must possess demonstrated skill in the areas of program planning, organizational development and management. Candidate should also have the capacity to work well with competing priorities and tight deadlines requiring a high degree of independent action, and multi-tasking. Must be a self-starter who understands the need for detail in the midst of work being done within a much larger picture. Bachelors Degree strongly encouraged, or equivalent combination of education/training/experience required; 4-10 years experience in a non-profit and/or Community Foundation is ideal.
