PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS Choirs competing in the AFTERNOON brackets on December 11 and 12 should be at Aliw Theater by 8 a.m. for registration and assignment of dressing rooms. Soundcheck will begin by 8.30 am for whoever is ready. Choirs will be given a total of 10 minutes each to block and check their mic levels. Additional choirs from the evening bracket that were assigned to do their soundcheck per previous post should also be on hand. Please note the placement of the condenser mics, and use the brief rehearsal period to adjust your movements. Inform the stage managers for any additional needs of your accompaniment e.g. chair, music stand, etc. MBC will not provide props for your use during your songs Lunch will be served at 11.30 a.m. at Elizalde Hall. Food and drinks are not allowed into the theater and backstage areas. Choirs should be in their seats by 12.30 pm A conductor from one of the open category choirs will be assigned to lead all ensembles in singing the Philippine National Anthem at the beginning of the program. Competition begins promptly at 1 pm Snacks to be served at Elizalde Hall after your competition. ***** Choirs competing in the EVENING brackets on December 11 and 12 should be at Aliw Theater by 2.30 p.m. for registration and assignment of dressing rooms, which will be accessible upon egress by the choirs that competed earlier. You are welcome to watch the afternoon competitions should you wish but must occupy the areas designated by the ushers for regular audiences. Snacks will be provided at Elizalde Hall Soundcheck begins at 4 pm or immediately after the afternoon competition ends. A conductor will be assigned to lead all ensembles in singing Lupang Hinirang ***** Please note that the DRESSING ROOMS ARE NOT SOUNDPROOF, so kindly refrain from vocalizing backstage as this will be heard onstage. Access to dressing rooms will be via the artists entrance adjacent to Chow King. Only the 35 official members of the entourage are allowed backstage.
