POEM : The things we lived were really lovely, werent they? Really lovely... Neither you nor I can go back to those days now Sometimes i think and realise i was at fault too We didnt appreciate what we had Do you remember at night We used to light our candles You used to wear your perfume and The room used to smell like you We used to laugh at nonsense stuff and cry for no reason When the weather is nice, we used to go and take a stroll When it is snowy we used to play snow ball You used to try reading cards When they dont say what you want to hear, You used to start all over again You used to get mad when i smoke use tell me the dangers of smoking in long-long details Sometimes you used to diet If the scale shows your weight correctly every now and then It would show it wrong most of the time You used to argue with it as well The neighbors kids used to play with our daughter You used to take them to the playground I used to stay home and watch football Sometimes our friends used to come over And we used to have a good chat Used to talk about nay thing and everything I used to tell stories about my time during my national service You used to talk about your pregnancy Then we used to remember the day we met You always used to ask me and i never used to remember I now do remember what you had on that day You had a red jumper and a black skirt It was on a Thursday Exactly 4 past 2 Neither of us were watching where we were going and hit each other You said sorry and I picked your books from the floor Then we caught each others eyes Just like a film in other words I got your last letter yesterday I told you everyone is suffering from flu You wrote that you have flu too Anyway, get well soon It is very cold here as well but I m not ill I just have a bit of a problem with my glasses This is life, we re just living in a circle shaped way..... I MISSED YOU ALL SO MUCH !!!
