POEMS OF JONATHAN MEDIDA COMPLIMENTS OF POETRYSOUP.COM March of a Wounded Heart Eloping from grief Away from abysmal soul Steaming qualms of faith And breaks open a blackhole Drowns in misfortune Into the depths, slowly sinks With clogged emotions Lifes tether is on the brink Wounded heart at hand With fading life drips Leaks like hourglass sand Awaits for another flip Forge ahead it march With hopes on the other side Solace in its grasp Waiting for soul to confide A night at a countryside As the moonlight shone over the mountains The stars starts to flicker one by one Humming winds eases the roughness From the days unforgiving sun. Chilling wind caresses the darkness Serenading them softly and low Night critters goes out to mingle Under the moons mesmerizing glow. The calm river chimes in its flowing Flickering waves illumes the riverside The chilling winds keeps on pushing Quenching the thirst of the countryside. As the sun lifts the shroud covering Of mountain tops to the grass of the plains Leaves and flowers bow to dew drops falling As the sun kisses them once again. This feeling Where do I begin Where do I start This feeling inside me Slowly tearing me apart I need a place to go And there I should stay To release whats inside me Helps ease the pain away I cried for some help But they just ignored Some responded with laughter That left my heart gored There I stood in silence As time freezes to stop Why is this world so cruel Where I only need a place to crap
