POP PROPAGANDA SONG PREVIEW - "TALENTED GIRL": I had written this really fast paced, edgy electro track and I came up with this hook: “Let me show you baby I’m a talented girl…” (and so on) and I thought to myself “OK, this is going to be a song that’s gonna get played in strip clubs a lot”. :-) And the first set of lyrics I wrote for it was all along that theme. But then other lyrics kept popping up, with more of a social message; female empowerment, about staying true to yourself even if that means not conforming to societies rules. I did lots of re-writes of these lyrics and in the end I am really happy with them. This is my “in praise of difficult women” moment.
