POWER WORDS - Id almost forgotten how effective the two power words are and how many doors theyve opened for me. I guess I unconsciously use them a lot. But it wasnt always that way. I started off using the two power words very deliberately and very strategically. That was until they kinda became part of who I am. Yesterday I hung out with my internet mentor. Hes earned tens of millions of dollars online. And yesterday I learned its because of the two power words that hes taken me behind the velvet rope to check out a couple of his many online money making machines. So we enjoyed Texas BBQ (again!) - if youre in my part of town its a not negotiable that Im taking you to The Hard8 its just that good! and we just hung out together, swapped stories (although I forgot to ask how he managed to get his company name plastered on one of Richard Bransons Virgin planes) we mostly talked about kids, Tony Robbins, MMA, marriage and of all things discussed at a BBQ joint - vegetarianism! Then, later at my house, he asks me do you know why Ive spent more one on one time with you over any other client of mine? Do you know why I wanted to hang out with you today? I had no idea. Its because you sent me a video message. And it wasnt to ask me a question or get something from me. It was just to show your appreciation and to say thank you! Youre the only client whos done that I really hadnt given it any thought to be honest. I was just truly grateful. But what a way to stand out from the crowd. I got to thinking What a way to compete where your competition doesnt even know the game is being played and if nothing else it just makes the world a better place. Maybe theres some people you could give the power words to today. Record a Thank You video message, write a personal Thank You card. Imagine the feeling YOU would have receiving a personal and heart felt thank you from someone else. You can create that feeling for someone today and it will eventually return back to you - possibly when you least expect it, and in a POWERFUL way, like it did for me yesterday.
