PRAYERS FOR FRIENDS Hello to my FB friends... :-) On a not-so-good note...I would like to ask for prayers for my friend Stacey Whitaker and her family, and the Ed and Lynn Strickland family. Stacey was recently diagnosed with breast cancer (March 5th). It is a very aggressive and fast moving type. And her mom and her aunt both died from breast cancer. Also, her husbands father was diagnosed the day after Staceys diagnosis with an inoperable brain tumor. Please lift up her family in a BIG way, as they have much on their plates to deal with emotionally, spiritually and physically. Next is the Strickland family... I do not know them personally but they are members of Mt. Bethel and good friends to many, many people in our East Cobb Community. This past Saturday (March 22), Ed and Lynn were in a horrific car accident and Ed was killed. Lynn has been in critical condition but is improving gradually. Their 3 year old grandson, Ashton, was with them. He has been in the hospital but is doing better and supposed to be released soon. I believe some physical therapy will be in his future to help recover from his injuries. As with Stacey, this family needs lifting up in a BIG way. I leave you with this... please take every day as a gift. We have no idea how long we will be on this Earth. Love deeply and be kind.
