PRESS RELEASE (OCTOBER 01, 2014) METROPOLITAN MANILA DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Starting Friday (Oct. 3), 10 p.m., the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake road reblocking and repairs at the following areas: SOUTHBOUND • Along Araneta Avenue from Calamba St. to Quezon Avenue, 2nd lane • Along E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue / C5 between Mercury Avenue and Richmond Avenue, 2nd lane • Along EDSA between Connecticut to Libertad, Mandaluyong City • Along C5 Road from CJ Caparas St. to Lanuza St., outer most lane • Along Mindanao Avenue from Old Sauyo Road to Rosal St., 3rd lane NORTHBOUND • Along EDSA between Temple Drive to United St., Mandaluyong City, • Along C.P. Garcia Avenue, Quezon City, 3rd lane WESTBOUND • Along Congressional Avenue from April St. to Ayshire, 1st lane The reblocking will last until last until 5 a.m. Monday, October 6. The MMDA advised motorists to avoid the affected areas and use alternate routes instead.
