PT 2 - Truth and Reconciliation Edmonton This is to my friends at Choices Seminars and Thelma Box Today I went to Canadas last Truth and Reconciliation which is this week in Edmonton, Alberta for Residential School Survivors and their families etc. They are here from all over Canada. I went to the exhibition section and wanted to find some photos or something from my birth mother who attended one of these schools. Blue Quills - St Paul / Saddle Lake. As I was in this section, I was drawn to a couple who were looking at a book. They told me they attended a residential school in BC and were brother and sister. Their school was in the 70s still. I loved their presence and told them I hoped that I wish My wife could meet them on the weekend at a concert. I never really spoke to anyone else except how I shared in my earlier post. They gave me their card and I never looked at it until later. I told them I would try and see if any hotels available on the west side of town. Edmonton is a city of 750000+. You dont run into people on the road. At about 445pm, Someone is yelling my name on 170s st and Yellowhead. This is Miles and miles from the conference centre downtown. It happens to be the guy I just met at noon. What the heck. SO I look at his card and try to phone to see if they are lost. I get a hold of the sister and she says they were separated during the day. Im driving on and I randomly text her if she has been to Choices, because many band members from BC have been but I dont recall the Squamish Nation. Their names are Richard and Deborah Baker. Soo. she says they have been to Choices!! Thats why I was impressed to talk to them and make a connection. It was a total God moment. Last week I had coffee with Lisa Litwinski She gave me a word card that said abudance Since this time, I have been blown away with God abundance!! I dont believe in coincidences! I started to cry after. Who knows if I will have a Pt 3 but I pray for healing to the other First Nations there.
