Pakistan Health System Sucks : Mr.A is 18 years old male who was coming home after work at night was bitten by a straw dog. He went next day to local BHU whr they injected him with RABIES vaccine (S/C OD for 14 days) .He completed course regularly. After 2 months, he was brought to PIMS with symptoms (hydrophobia, aerophobia ) and diagnosed as having RABIES. RABIES is a Death sentence as it has no cure and he will DIE eventually. THE ISSUE : W.H.O BANNED VACCINES are still available in primary health centres. Why he was not given Human Diploid Cell vaccine that is supposed to be available at every govt hospital/health centre ?????????? What is the fault of this young guy who has to die because he was given a vaccine that was Banned by WHO due to inefficacy??????
