Pakistan and Turkey deepens defence cooperation 1. latest agreement was signed between Pakistans Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) and Turkeys Nurol Technologies for B7 protection level technology 2. Aselsan has supplied sighting and other sub-systems for Pakistans Al-Zarrar/upgraded Type-59 tanks and Ukrainian-supplied T-80UD, and transferred radio design and manufacture technology. 3. Aselsan could supply technology developed for Turkeys Leopard II upgrade and Altay tank programs for Pakistans Al-Khalid, HIT officials say a key item sought for the Al-Khalid is a third generation thermal imaging sight such as the Altays. 4.
