***Paranormal Metrou***(imported post ) Jim Morrison was a American poet, singer, songwriter, and most famously of all, the lead singer of The Doors. He died aged 27 in Paris, France, and was buried in the famous Père Lachaise Cemetery. Does his spirit still linger - this photo shows that it might - but is it fact or fiction? You decide! Jim Morrison passed away in Paris, his body discovered July 3, 1971. It is believed, among other things, that he died from either a accidental heroin overdose (snorting it thinking it was cocaine) or a heart attack, but as no autopsy was performed, it can never be absolutely assured. He was buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery, his grave originally without a grave marker. Over the years many headstones were made and defaced or stolen, until Morrisons own father placed a rather ordinary looking headstone on the site with an inscription in Greek that reads against his own Daemon. In 1997, Journalist Brett Meisner was visiting the cemetery when he had this photo taken of him. He is standing directly behind the headstone Jim Morrisons father had made, flowers evident on the grave. However, in the background, standing in the doorway of a crypt, is a semi transparent figure, arms held wide. The figure seems to be looking down to its right, the legs fade to nothing, and a loose white shirt seems to be worn. Many state that the pose is very reminiscent of a famous publicity photo of Morrison (that you can see inset). Meisner did not realise he had captured the apparition until many years later, when he was going through his photo archives, and his assistant pointed it out. What do you think? Was Jim Morrisons ghost captured that day in Père Lachaise Cemetery? Could it be a trick of the light and shadows? Or do you think it is a hoax, a complete fake?
