Part 17, lessons from suratul hujuraat...... You find yourself still alive and reading this message? Then you better thank Allah, say a very big ALHAMDULILLAH! because there are thousands out there whom Allah has decided to take away their sight, not because they did something wrong, but its His will, so you better be grateful, for you too could lose this great blessing of sight. In-shaa-Allah, todays lesson is a brief recap of the 6 sins Allah has prohibitted in the suura, and then a quick look at its dangers in our lives and our societies 1. Ridicule. 2. Insult. 3. offensive name calling. 4. Unnecessary suspicion. 5. Spying on one another. 6. Backbitting. These sins and other sins as well, bring about hatred, malice, evny, disunity and creates a weak and divided society. It causes the one affected with such sickness to always be in a state of worry, grief, anger and discontent in what Allah has blessed them with, because they are always suspecting people to have more than them, they waste productive time which could be used for something profitable, spying and backbitting which automatically guarantees them the wrath, anger, curse and punishment of Allah azza wa jalla, and on the day of resurrection, their good deeds will be given to those innocent people as compensation for the harm done to them. SO WHAT GOOD IS THERE IN THIS EVIL ACT? WHAT JOY DO YOU SEEK TO GAIN? TWO MINUTES OF GOSSIP AND BACKBITTING FOR AN ETERNITY IN HELL FIRE? LETS REPENT, SEEK FORGIVENESS FROM ALLAH AND ALL THOSE WE HAVE HARMED BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. May Allah safeguard us and also guide those of us who have been affected with such evil. Aameen.
