Part of the agreement between The Police and myself includes the following extract. It is therefore my understanding that we will be marching up to the Celtic Manor on Thursday At the appointed time of 1:00pm or if delayed in the interests of safety, the procession will commence from The Cenotaph, Chepstow Road, Newport (allowing both Caerleon Road and Corporation Road to remain open and unobstructed) by way of Chepstow Road, providing the protest is peaceful arriving at the Celtic Manor fence line, The Coldra, for the purpose of a further peaceful static protest before dispersal. A delegation will be escorted by Police to the fence line of the Celtic Manor Resort, where a written message will be delivered to a Government delegate. The delegation will then be escorted by Police to the fence line. The delegation will re-join the main group of protesters where it is appreciated that the delegation will address the protestors although this should be for an agreed period of time not exceeding 15 minutes. The delegation party will consist of 12 people and they will be escorted to secure locations. Their full details will need to be supplied to Police by an agreed Time / Date for necessary security checks to be undertaken.
