Part time 10 to 20 hours a week Child Care Assistant is responsible for working in a team effort with the Teacher and other program staff to provide children with a safe and healthy learning environment, advancing their physical and intellectual growth, supporting social and emotional development, providing positive guidance and discipline, establishing positive relationships with families and encouraging their involvement in the education of their children, ensuring a well-run purposeful program responsive to participants needs and maintaining a commitment to professionalism. you will also be responsible for daily facility up keep and maintenance. Required Skills Working with preschool age children and younger. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Excellent organizational skills Ability to be flexible and willingness to work varied shifts CPR and First Aid Certification (with in 60 days of employment) Must be 18 years old Ability to pass a pre employment Health Screening and TB Test, Background Check and Fingerprints Valid Driver License Starts at $9 an hour University Preschool of Auburn and child care 916.790.9490
