Pat Buchanan Was Right #DailyCaller Although The Daily Caller (DC) shamelessly panders to GOP statists and neocons by bashing Obama and Gang (red meat for the GOP base), the DC is not nearly as vile as the considerably more hardcore neocon Breitbart. This DC piece is refreshingly honest and acknowledges that Pat Buchanan, who opposed the Iraq War, was right. While Republican media has generally been in lockstep with the RNC-GOP machine, that paradigm is cracking and I believe that foreign policy will finally be forced out of the GOP closet and put on the table for a real debate. For saying things many Iraq war supporters would now concede were true, Buchanan was lumped in with the “Unpatriotic Conservatives.”
