Average is $3,000 every single year! Tossed MiddleClass approx. $30 measly bucks a year!!!!! And for the Working Poor LePage generously gave them each a buck off their taxes every year! Who Pays For LePage BIG Hand Up to the Rich? The 4 MILLION dollar loss in tax revenue. Who pays? YOU DO! How? LePage Bumped Up the MiddleClass and Working Poor Grossing $117,000 and Under into the next highest Tax Brackets to Squeeze more out of you to pay for then. Still not enough to cover that 4 Million Dollar loss in Tax Revenues for LePage so called Tax cuts for all scam. Mr Businessman, that LePage likes to refer himself to....came up short! Bad Mathematics mean bad business plan. Who payed now? YOU DID! LePage increased state Tax to 5.5% and 8% for lodging, including family campgrounds, restaurants,fast food and foods sold in convenience stores like pizza etc. GasTax was increased. ALL of these desperate measures meant to lift the very rich upward actually harmed the MiddleClass stagnating Maine economy. Maine Wages have been lagging behind for along time while the cost of living keeps climbing! Right smack in the middle of a recession LePage makes getting by from paycheck to paycheck harder burdening working Poor and MiddleClass alike. Meanwhile LePage pushes the old tried and failed Trickle Down Math. In the Fall of 2012 the US House Study did not reveal what Old Boehner was hoping. The Bush Trickle Down failed to create more jobs and lift Middle Class up. The Corporate Job Creators got richer and the profits they made went right into their bank accounts. Boehner refused to release specifics if the study as it was Oct 2014 just prior to the Nov 2012 Presidential Elections. The worn out tune old Willard Romney was singing was the Bush Trickle song. The study would have hit Republicans candidates even harder especially old Willard.
