Patricia (Durant) writes: I lost my Shadow 12 days ago, a beautifull intelligent loyal funny German shep, Id had him from 8 weeks old, he was 10 in January, in march he started having siezures, the most frightening thing ive ever witnessed , and I felt helpless, he had a brain tumour, we did all we could with mri scans, steroids etc,we thought they was working, he didnt act ill, he still chased balls, full of energy, his usual self and that made it so much harder, but eventually the meds stopped controlling the swelling and he had 3 siezures within a matter of hours, he was so confused and distressed, and I just couldnt see him suffering , it was the hardest decision ive ever made,, but I miss him so so much, Im lost without him, I just hope he understood and forgives me,, I held him in my arms until the end.
