Paul Duff has been a hero to all animals in need for more than a decade. His horror at the unthinkable number of highly adoptable animals being daily euthanized in Los Angeles area shelters led his evolution from a career as pet sitter/dog walker to the founder of ROMP Rescue, a highly-regarded 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Through ROMP, Paul has worked tirelessly to take in abandoned and abused animals from the streets and shelters, finding them loving homes and ensuring that as many as possible have a new beginning and a happy, loving life. Paul has coordinated with countless other rescues nationwide to transport animals in need, and on numerous occasions has assumed responsibility for dogs abandoned in boarding by other would-be rescues. ROMP has provided for every need, including complicated (expensive) surgeries, medical care for grave illnesses, or treatment for a major injury. The financial burden incurred by Paul’s expression of love and devotion has now cast a shadow over the future of ROMP’s efforts.
