Paying attention to the details is not enough. One must have some - TopicsExpress

Paying attention to the details is not enough. One must have some prior knowledge of the situtation. 1. As a rule (fairness not included) high school faculty get paid more. The highest average salary may be twice the lowest but it is a HIGH SCHOOL only district. 2. Average incomes are linked to access to the New York City - so it is not unusual that the north east corner of NJ has higher paid employees. The real point of this news item is not who gets paid more but why it would be difficult to merge all NJ school districts into a single State-wide district as has been suggested (as a way to change funding away from property taxes).
