Paypal Reminder Folks out there who buy off FB !! DO NOT pay your sellers as Family or Friends payment... .unless you know them, have been doing business with them a long time. I purchased some glass for a friend who had been removed from the site the The Glass Connection, run by Kenneth Reese Ladner.. he wanted me to pay as family or friends. Told him NO, I needed an invoice. he finally sent one. I added the descriptions from his site of the items she wanted. Box arrived yesterday, glass had prior damage, not from shipping, one 2 piece set, the bottom broke. He only used one piece of bubble wrap and no tape. Then he tried to get me to file the postal claim. Told him NO, not going to file a fraudulent postal insurance claim, #1 they arent stupid, you can tell if it broke, or was prior damage not disclosed. paypal ruled in my favor....this is a scary seller in my opinion. I would never ship damaged glass and expect the US Post Office to pay for it. :(
