Peaks and Valleys There are no guarantees in life, But something you can count on are lifes peaks and valleys We appreciate sunshine the most after a hard rain We enjoy food most when we are hungry We learn to cherish true love and trust after we have been hurt by the opposite Pain is sharpened by memories of happiness 11 days ago we were crying together sitting on the floor of the Richmond convention center at the bottom of what looked like an insurmountable mountain... Gazing up at our dream we made a plan for the seemingly impossible climb. Armed with tools and heart you never stopped climbing to even look back at far you had come. Friday at the Majors felt like standing on top of Mt Everest ... Seeing you not even be able to hold or even attempt the last motion and jump on anyone and everyone in sight God gives us all our own roller coaster to ride, the challenge is to look past the horizon and take each step backwards as an opportunity to springboard two steps forward Senior Elite, you looked adversity square in the eye and told it thank you. You took ownership of every obstacle and every brick you have been thrown and used them to build your own wall that blocked out fear I am so thankful that the WORLD got to see the team I am in love with. I could see it in your eyes from the moment you took the floor... That fierce look of a champion team that believes in itself Remember this journey and this feeling later on in life when I dont get to see you every Sunday When life hits you with repeated disappointment and you feel like you cant catch a break... Remember how you changed your stars and rebounded ... Remember that it took hope, it took faith and it took a lot of work.... But it sure was worth it. Lets keep climbing
