I ordered this Brother Pocket Jet Printer for traveling. I wanted the Bluetooth version but received the wired version. After a four (4) week exchange process I received the Pocket Jet 6 Plus (Bluetooth version).I spent hours trying to pair the printer to my MacBook Air before finally throwing in the towel and calling for support. My lap top showed that the device was paired but it wouldnt come on line. It did function perfectly with the supplied USB cable but not wirelessly.Speaking to the support tech, I was advised that the Bluetooth version printer was not compatible with Mac OS 7. The printer requires Rosetta software which was removed from the Mac OS in a previous upgrade.I informed the support tech that the Brother marketing and product description states clearly that the device is Mac compatible. He apologized and added that some of their marketing might be out of date. In all fairness, it works well if connected to my Mac with the USB cable but I paid for bluetooth. My bad!The sales pitch on Amazon said Mac Compatible, but there is no driver available for my OS X 10.8.5 Macbook Pro. I tried downloading drivers for the newer version of this printer, PocketJet6, but it doesnt print properly, Utility and Supplies dont show up, and its completely unsatisfactory. I hired a computer consultant in case I was missing something, and he said that this is an old model, and the company has not put in the time or energy to resolve its compatibility issues.
