People are debating right now on whether Jesus is YHWH. Here is my comment ... I kept it brief: I can prove that Jesus is YHWH as Mark 1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Is easily shown to be the Lord Jesus (you can look at John 1or the beginning of other Gospels to see that John prepared the way for Jesus Christ). You can also look at Romans 10:9 where Jesus is explicitly called Lord as in Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Well, the way of the Lord is in Isaiah 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. But LORD in Isaiah 40:3 is יְהֹוָה or Jehovah. Or you can just look at Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. It can be easily shown that this is Jesus Christ that is the Almighty. As John explicitly turned to see who was speaking that is the Almighty as in Revelation 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And what did John see? Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. The Lord Jesus was the one who lived, was dead, and lived again as we just saw in Romans 10:9 where it said ... believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead ...
