People are too concerned with sitting behind a computer and getting behind a cause just by liking or sharing it. Placing that as their good deed for the day. Well I challenge each and every one of you to go out and help someone in any form of need. Get something off the shelf in the store thats out of reach, compliment a stranger, smile at someone... anyone, help someone across the street or give up a parking spot, etc. I will not accept excuses like Im socially awkward or Im an introvert or What has the world done for me?. Although being the nice guy all my life has generally paid me back in grief (with a few exceptional exceptions) I will say this... there is nothing more satisfying than knowing I ACTUALLY went out of my way to do something good. I dont believe in God so that whole a good deed gets ya into heaven is lost on me. I dont do it for karma because things would have been different by now. I do it for me and the people I am directly and indirectly making happy.
