People, do not let your sins become so heavy upon you that you run - TopicsExpress

People, do not let your sins become so heavy upon you that you run from the Lord, but allow that guilt to cause you to run toward the Lord Jesus, He is willing to forgive and set us free from sin if we confess and turn from our sins... (Luke 18:13-14 NASB) But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (John 8:10-11 NASB) Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.” (John 8:34-36 NASB) Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. 35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. 36 So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. Come to Christ Jesus to be forgiven and set free while it is still the acceptable time, while your breath still remains in you, who knows the day when he will breath his last breath, be ready!
