People of Cardiff who are moaning about the fence and the NATO summit just wanted to point out some facts to avoid any further pointless ranting:- A) the summit has cost $33m , of this the welsh government its estimated will cover around 14% circa £2.3m or thereabouts B) This equates to around £0.90p per person in wales in terms of taxation C) By protecting the worlds leaders the police are actually protecting us D) The 2012 Chicago summit generated $128m in additional revenue to the economy, its estimated that the Cardiff summit will generate between £110m - £146m in economic revenue
