People who think we should sit back and do NOTHING against the threat that is ISIS are the same people who would have sat back and done nothing against the Nazis and Fascism, as make no mistake, ISIS and groups like them, are Islamofascist who have perverted Islam and have an ideology of hate. And they are NOT a fringe group, and actually in the countries they operate in enjoy great support----just like Hitler enjoyed in Germany, as everyone forgets that Hitler was legitimately ELECTED to office by a vast majority of the people---most of whom knew full well his racist views and were in full support of harsh treatment against the Jewish people. So it is with ISIS who have many many things in common with the Nazis and Fascists---not the least of which is their desire to kill all the Jews wherever they might live, and to conquer the world. To ignore this threat, and just sit back and do nothing, hoping the problem will just go away is beyond idiotic....and what really needs to be done is to systematically annihilate all the key leaders of the ideology, so that it cant gain root and spread. To hope that it will simply implode is to not understand the long history of Islam, as the views ISIS holds, have been held by a sizable minority of Muslims for about 500 years, and the doctrine just keeps getting passed down generation to generation to generation. It is just now that political vacuum has allowed these groups to form legitimate political power---and they have more resources and support than ever.
